Outdoor Exposition
Planning Guide |
Weatherby Foundation
International has made a strong commitment to provide tangible planning,
organizational and financial assistance to those states and/or organizations
committed to producting an annual Outdoor Expo. As part of this commitment
we will:
- Provide videos and material to help promote the Expo concept to your
agency or organization.
- Give you personal assistance in the planning phase of your first Expo.
- Provide you with an “Outdoor Expo Planning Guide” to answer
those “nuts and bolts” questions and will be just a phone
call or e-mail away with information and counsel to help you plan and
produce your first Expo.
- When possible, we will give presentations to large gatherings to help
promote the Outdoor Expo as a great learning medium.
- Facilitate networking, collaboration and information/materials sharing
with other states currently conducting or planning to conduct an Outdoor
Expo.
- Facilitate partnerships with businesses and organizations, that have
similar goals, to join the campaign and help states produce Outdoor
Expos.
- The Weatherby Foundation will provide start-up grants of $10,000
to organizers in each state producing their first Expo and $5,000 every
year thereafter as long as your Expo meets the criteria and grant guidelines.
